You will be a valued member of the Android team and work collaboratively with multicultural teams.In This Role, You Will Development: Build and maintain high-quality Android applications, adhering to best development practices. Optimization: Optimize code for top performance and user experience. Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through unit and UI testing, leveraging tools like JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, Espresso, and UiAutomator. Architecture: Collaborate with the team on architectural decisions, employing patterns such as MVP and MVVM. Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to deliver successful projects. Project Management: Manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely completion and achievement of objectives. Work Model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo, SP. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. This may change based on the project you’re engaged in, as well as business and client requirements. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.What You Need To Have To Be Considered English: Advanced English proficiency for both written and verbal communication. Background: Solid background in Android development with in-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin. Programming: Experience with object-oriented programming and multi-threaded development. Testing: Champion of testing and experienced with tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, Espresso, and UiAutomator. Architecture: Solid understanding of architectural patterns like MVP and MVVM.
