**About the role**:
We are seeking an experienced **Design Lead** to oversee our client’s design department. This role is perfect for a driven leader with strong management skills and a keen eye for design excellence. The **Design Lead** will focus on managing projects and coordinating with freelancers while contributing hands-on to design tasks when needed.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Manage and lead a team of freelance designers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Oversee the creation of visual assets across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and innovation.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the design department to achieve organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison for cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
- Provide hands-on design support for high-priority or overflow projects when needed.
- Review and approve creative work, offering constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
- Manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently across projects.
- Stay informed about design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the team’s output remains fresh and competitive.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design roles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across various niches.
- Proven experience managing remote teams and coordinating with freelancers.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Fluent in English oral and written.
**Position**: Design Lead
**Remote Status**: Fully Remote
**Preferred Location**: Global
**Working Hours**: 8 am to 5 pm EST
**Holidays**: US Local Holidays
**Salary**: USD 2200 to USD 2500 per month
