BW Energy is hiring an IT intern in Brazil to support our operations. This internship provides you with an invaluable opportunity to work alongside IT professionals, develop your skills, and contribute to our mission of excellence in energy solutions.**Key Responsibilities**:- Assist in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve IT-related problems promptly.- Participate in routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups. Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems.- Collaborate with the IT team to help maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to IT systems, inventory, and user support.- Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of security policies and practices to protect company data and assets.- Support various IT projects and initiatives, which may include system upgrades, software deployments, and hardware procurement.- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, and conduct research to make recommendations for improvements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT professionals to support the company's technology needs and objectives.**Requirements**:**Education**- Currently enrolled in a relevant IT-related degree.**Interpersonal Skills**- Strong interest in information technology and the oil and gas industry.- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software systems.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.- Strong analytical and organizational skills.- Willingness to work as part of a team.
