Senior Mainframe L3 Production Support Engineer Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid) Job Summary Long‑term contract. Experienced working in production / application support projects following ITIL best practices. Candidate should have a wide range of experience and expertise and can take ownership while working closely with the client team to move forward. Responsibilities and Qualifications Ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures in Production and collaborate with any teams to resolve Production issues as needed. Experience in using Microsoft Excel for data comparisons & manipulation, MS Word for documentation. Commitment to clear and timely communication with all stakeholders—including Clients, Client Service Managers, Business Analysts, IT Operations, Dev/Engineering team. Document bottlenecks and other issues in current Production for Engineering team to review and potentially provide long‑term solutions. Commitment to meeting tight Production turnaround SLAs, from receiving client data to completing processing and making output available in target systems and to target stakeholders. Good understanding of different Business processes such as Supply Chain, Finance, Order Management, Receiving, etc. Experience working in Service‑Now Incident, Requests, Problem Management and Azure DevOps. Expertise in understanding and writing complex DB2 queries and knowledge of database concepts. Ability to understand Cobol script code and familiarity with Azure DevOps basics. Excellent communication and user interaction skills. Technical skills: JAVA, Ext JS, Cobol, Mainframe, DB2, JCL, VSAM, GitHub. Service‑Now reports and Dashboard creation skills. Documentation skills using platforms such as Confluence, Service‑Now, Word, etc. Experience with Google Cloud Platform. #J-18808-Ljbffr
