**The FX Settlement AVP. is a critical position for the FX business considering settlement volumes, product criticality, seniority to approval payments ( High amounts) and recent regulatory changes. The FX Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing and leading the FX operations processing team. Responsible for international payments and lead Settlement Projects and Sanctions screening analysis.**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure timely FX booking and settlemt meeting SLAs, policies and predifined thresholds ;
- Check and approval SWITS Messages ( MT103/MT202)
- Processing all steps of FX ensuring the smooth running of transactions;
- Close interaction with the business to identify opportunities in terms of customer experience and operational flow improvements;
- Minimize bank risk, and provide solutions to reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies;
- Escalate in a timely manner and resolve all requests / inquiries / issues / errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes;
- Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members;
- Keep all internal FX procedure manuals up to date; Ensure timely MCA/QAP deliverables meeting SLAs
**Qualifications**:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in FX Settlement including strong knowledge in SWIFT and international payments
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English, spanish is a plus
- Control oriented
- Innovation mind set
- Management skills
- Able to work with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to contact clients, Business and global teams
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
