This position requires a professional who combines strong technical expertise with strategic vision and the ability to build and sustain high-quality relationships across the organisation.
The role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and governance, while also providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and inspire the controllership team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Oversee accounting close processes, management reports, and statutory financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Strengthen governance through robust internal controls and regulatory compliance (local and international standards).
Partner with senior executives, auditors, and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and foster trusted relationships.
Translate complex financial data into clear insights that inform business decisions.
Develop policies and best practices that enhance operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields; MBA or postgraduate studies are a strong advantage.
Proven experience in senior controllership or finance leadership roles, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards (BRGAAP) and international standards (IFRS).
Fluent English (spoken and written) mandatory.
Strategic mindset combined with technical depth and hands-on leadership.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage complexity, and deliver results in dynamic environments.
