This is your opportunity to work hands-on throughout the internship and be part of the legal team that supports Viasat's Services Segment (Residential Wi-Fi, Viasat Community Internet and In-flight Wi-Fi) and will also support on corporate issues (tax, regulatory of telecommunications services, branches opening etc). There is great exposure to our in-house attorneys who are easily accessible and offer valuable insight. **Requirements**:
- Students currently enrolled in Law school, with at least two years completed.
- Strong analytical skills
- Engaged and organized personality
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-driven individual with ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Strong ability to work in teams and build good working relationships
- High degree of personal integrity and work ethic
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
**Preferences**
- Experience with global privacy laws, regulations, consumer laws and industry guidelines, especially including those relevant for telecommunication companies.
- Fluent Spanish language skills are a plus.
