The Manager, Transportation Control & Billing is a key in‑house position responsible for managing the budget and transportation spend, providing decision‑making support for adidas in Brazil’s wide supply chain and transportation network. The role owns, collects, analyzes complex financial data, and presents insights in management decks and decision support materials. The successful candidate will turn data into information and then into business decisions, ensuring correct execution of the transportation budget. Key Responsibilities Budget execution and control. Accountable for invoicing process controls and system issue resolution. Freight services and payments conciliation. Develop, manage, and update regional transportation decks and scorecards. Drive data‑driven decision making in the whole Brazil network deliveries. Analyze and pinpoint top improvement areas within Supply Chain. Own the financial performance reporting of the department. Analyse and report full visibility for Net Sales monthly Recognition share. Carry out ad‑hoc analysis to drive agile decision making. Support ongoing and designed projects with data, building and justifying business cases. Build automated reports (Excel, Data warehouse, or web‑based) for team use. Drive and own data reliability and richness on company‑wide used data tools. Work with technical teams to enhance the transportation reporting capabilities. Improve the understanding, awareness and proper use of available data within the organization. Key Relationships Freight Transportation management. Initiate and drive data‑driven discussions with cross‑functional internal stakeholders, as well as external partners. Couple the data with qualitative input, issues, feedback and insights to prepare, plan, align and deliver solutions. Identify, analyze and interpret trends, patterns and outliers in complex data sets. Work with senior management to prioritize business and information needs. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Technical expertise: data models, mining, segmentation, presentation techniques. Strong knowledge of reporting packages (BusinessObjects, SQL, PowerBI, Microstrategy, VBA, Tableau). Number savvy with strong analytical skills. Experience building and evaluating Business Cases with scenario planning. Financial literacy is a plus. Understanding of complex transportation/supply chain network. Experience with Transportation Management and Optimization system is a plus. Willingness to get hands‑dirty with data analytics. Curious, open to learning and sharing expertise. Requisite Education and Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Demonstrated data analytics skills with various tools. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in an advanced analytics environment – preferably in supply chain and/or transportation management.
