Middle/Senior Go Developer (Impact team) Sigma Software is looking for an experienced Middle/Senior Go Developer to join our growing engineering team. This opportunity is perfect for you if you want to work with the world’s most extensible and transparent advertising buying platform, operating on a massive global scale. As an engineer in this role, you will have the chance to work with the latest technology of large-scale clusters and the framework of high-performance services. Customer Our client has superior end-to-end technology, premium marketplace, and best-in-market advisory services that power the global advertising businesses of the largest media and entertainment companies, including Fox, NBC Universal, Viacom in the USA, Sky, Channel 4, RTE, and Media set in Europe. Project You will be working as the provider of comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. The team is responsible for creating metrics for advertising campaigns and redesigning the solution from Golang to Python. Responsibilities Perform software engineering tasks such as developing, testing, and optimizing back-end systems and APIs using Go Design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions, with a focus on performance, reliability, and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize existing applications and develop new features for ongoing projects Build and refine processes for software updates, including CI/CD pipelines and automation for application deployment Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems, ensuring high code quality and maintaining best practices for software design and architecture Utilize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS services) to deploy, manage, and scale applications in a distributed environment Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity for both current and future team members Participate in code reviews to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team Demonstrate expertise through knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application within a specific engineering specialty Familiarity with data engineering concepts like data storage, ETL, and information retrieval is an advantage but not a requirement; willingness to learn these concepts as they will become valuable to the role in the future Qualifications At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development Proficient in Go with strong software engineering fundamentals Strong understanding of AWS including S3, EKS Strong SQL skills and proven experience working with major database platforms Experience with cloud-based data services and solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Hive) Would be a Plus Experience with Python Experience with Airflow Experience with Jenkins Experience with data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Hive) Personal Profile Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines Strong passion for learning and practicing new technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
