About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer Backend who is passionate about scalable architecture and efficient APIs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our back-end services and database architecture to ensure high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and WebSockets using NestJS.
Design and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and NoSQL.
Manage asynchronous messaging systems using Pub/Sub for event-driven architecture.
Ensure high performance and security of our back-end applications.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
Collaborate with front-end developers to design efficient API contracts.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented TypeScript code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Stay updated on best practices for scalability, security, and database performance.

Requisitos

Experience with NestJS and the Node.js ecosystem.
Proficiency in TypeScript and object-oriented programming concepts.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
Understanding of authentication and authorization standards (JWT, OAuth).
Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
Experience with Git and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Ability to write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
Fluency in Portuguese and English

Nice to Have

Experience with Redis for caching and real-time data handling.
Knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience deploying applications to Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub).
