About Fullstack Engineer/Developer
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with exceptional command over both frontend and backend development technologies.
We expect you to handle tasks such as architecting, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions that embody excellence in user experience.
What we expect from you
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features & functionalities.
- Develop responsive web applications using frontend technologies including vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Ajax .
- Optimize performance and ensure scalability of the e-commerce platform.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure seamless operation of our platform.
- Follow coding principles like YAGNI, KISS, SOLID, and DRY during development & code reviews while advocating for high coding standards.
- Debug and create robust applications.
- Act as both an architect and a coder; be a clean code evangelist & leave the code better than it was found.
- Rely on automation and qualitative development ensuring high test coverage & type-checked code; leave no loose ends & always tidy up with good documentation.
- Thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment; be a team player with a sense of responsibility and ownership, and mentor other engineers.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
What we’re looking for
- (6+) years' experience as a Fullstack Engineer/Developer, with a strong focus on frontend and backend development.
- Experience with microservices/micro-frontend architecture and preferably carry out migrations from monolith to micro-frontend/microservices; legacy PHP & frontend systems; template engines: v6 of Oxid with Smarty and v7 with Twig is preferred but not limited to.
- Proficient in backend development using PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symfony , with experience in OXID shop system or similar e-commerce shop systems being a plus.
- Experience with GitLab, Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions & familiar with CI/CD pipeline optimization & deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies & scrum processes.
- Experience with Vue.js / React.js, ERP systems , and knowledge of SQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
