About The Position As a Labour Immigration Specialist Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our firm's legal strategy, with a specific focus on matters pertaining to the labor sector. We are seeking a passionate legal professional with the capability to represent the firm in intricate matters, both in administrative and judicial contexts. Your insights will also be essential in advising multinational clients on cross-border employment issues and international workforce planning. Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Advise clients on complex matters related to Labour Immigration Law, including visa processes, work permits, expatriate regulations, and compliance with national and international legal frameworks. Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, and opinions related to employment-based immigration, global mobility programs, and corporate immigration strategies. Conduct legal research on evolving immigration policies, labor laws, and international mobility trends, producing memos, briefs, and updates for clients and internal stakeholders. Develop thought leadership content, such as articles, white papers, and presentations, contributing to the firm's visibility and influence in Labour Immigration Law. Monitor and analyze legal developments impacting labour immigration in Brazil and globally, proactively advising clients on potential implications and strategic responses. Engage in business development activities, including client relationship management and participation in industry events or legal panels. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Demonstrated expertise in Labour Immigration Law, as evidenced by legal practice, scholarly research, publications, or an academic career Deep understanding of global mobility Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, both in English and Portuguese. A genuine passion for tackling intricate legal matters within the realm of immigration. A collaborative disposition and the capability to lead complex legal projects effectively.
