Software Architect Specialist

About Us We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Back-end Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications using Ruby on Rails. You will thrive in an environment where clean code, modern architecture patterns, and cloud-based solutions are essential. You will enjoy solving complex challenges, automating infrastructure, and ensuring that systems are secure, performant, and ready to scale. You Will Bring the Following Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in back-end development using Ruby on Rails. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and API Gateway. Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments. Solid understanding of serverless architectures and AWS Lambda functions. Experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and background job frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque). Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. Experience working with Agile methodologies, and proficiency using Jira and Confluence for project tracking. You Will Be Accountable for: Designing, developing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on scalability and performance. Building and managing AWS infrastructure components using Terraform and DevOps best practices. Implementing and maintaining serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and related services. Integrating and maintaining APIs and external systems, ensuring reliability and data consistency. Refactoring legacy components to improve maintainability, performance, and code clarity. Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high code quality and coverage. Monitoring application performance and proactively addressing issues or bottlenecks. Collaborating on CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, consistent, and efficient deployments. Participating in code reviews, maintaining high-quality development standards.
