Your goal is to evolve and improve how our end users experience ads?
You'll be working on projects like adding more contextual information to the ad to make it more appealing to users, increasing or decreasing the number of ads shown to a user, adding video to ads, etc.
This is a very high potential role; Ad UIs can have a dramatic impact both on the user experience and also the overall revenue. You will develop and execute experiments to test early concepts in order to learn quickly. Working closely with colleagues across Engineering, Design, User Research, Data Science to bring the best ideas to life.
As a senior PM on the team, you will be responsible for driving the vision of the Mobility Ads team, considering advertiser and rider needs. You'll uncover user problems, define and build solutions, and measure their impact. We expect you to be able to move quickly, working with your team to improve the user experience and needs to continue leveling up our product. Key areas of focus include:
- Identify new ad opportunities across mobility surfaces
- Partner closely core rider experience teams
- Own new surfaces and bring them to market for our advertiser clients
- Develop new ad platform level capabilities
**- Basic Qualifications -—**
- Minimum 3 years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished.
**- Bonus points -—**
- Ad Tech: Prior experience working at an ad tech company and well-versed with fundamentals of advertising
- Leadership: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, working with multiple cross-functional collaborators and partners, while being accountable for outcomes.
- Data chops: You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
- Technical chops: You have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built, and are comfortable discussing requirement and scope tradeoffs.
- Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
- Business-minded: You are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics.
