If you think you have what it takes, read on.**Who Are We Looking For**Resmed is seeking an “Associate Software Support Technician” to handle a high volume of inbound contacts (calls, email, chat, cases) from internal, external customers, patients and business partners for Latin America focusing on software support, device support, and general customer education. This position will service as a frontline point of contact for newly reported technical concerns.**Responsibilities*** Handle high volume of customer reported technical concerns to ensure first contact resolution by utilizing set department/company policies and procedures.* Respond to patient requests and provide proper post-interaction documentation.* Suggest and implement changes that are needed to move the department in a positive direction.* Respond to and resolve all customer issues in a timely manner including the escalation of issues as they arise. Most work with customers is done via e-mail.* Other duties as assigned.**Requirements, Education and/or Experience:*** Experience with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge).* Intermediary PC Skills.* Effective phone and email communicating skills. Great speaker and interpersonal relationship development.* Language Skills: Fluent Portuguese, Fluent English and Advanced Spanish.**Other qualifications:*** Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Accurately assess critical factors for success and mitigate risk on deliverables.* Proactively share technical knowledge and best practices with team members.* Possess excellent written and verbal skills.* Articulate ideas and thoughts clearly and easily.* Interact well with team leaders, peers, junior staff and other managers at various positions.* Able to demonstrate ability to work with customers on the phone and on meetings.* Able to demonstrate ability to work well under pressure and as a team.* Ability to demonstrate proficiency with software and hardware troubleshooting skills.* Able to demonstrate ability to gather information and resolve customer issues.**Reasoning ability:*** Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
