We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure.

In this position, you will ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and optimized to support modern cloud-native applications and services.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
  • Administer and fine-tune GKE clusters with a focus on workload management, scaling, and performance optimization
  • Upgrade GKE clusters to Workload Identity to improve security and streamline resource access management
  • Configure and manage networking setups while enforcing security protocols like IAM roles and firewall policies
  • Integrate container security measures into CI/CD workflows to ensure safe application deployments
  • Enhance cloud systems to guarantee high availability, scalability, and minimal latency
  • Work closely with development teams to design and implement cloud-native application solutions
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively resolve performance issues or system failures
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing, managing, and scaling Google Cloud Platform environments
  • Advanced knowledge of GKE and Kubernetes, including node pool management, scaling strategies, autoscaling, workload orchestration, and Helm
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and container registries such as Artifact Registry
  • Experience with IAM configurations, Workload Identity, VPC setups, private clusters, and other GKE security features
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing, DNS, NAT, and VPNs in cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
  • Knowledge of cloud security practices, including encryption, secrets management, and regulatory compliance standards
