What You'll Build We are looking for an expert DevOps Engineer for our brand new SRE team with a focus on K8S Unified Gateway Services. As an Expert SRE You Will Act as a role model and multiplier of best practices with your technical expertise and soft skills Actively share knowledge and participate in your colleagues’ technical development Stakeholder management – align and balance the needs and priorities of various stakeholders, team and SRE org Collaborate closely with Development teams, other technical and non‑technical teams, managers in an international environment to achieve commitments Manage team roadmap and commitments Adopt and propose new tools and practices that enable the team to gain deeper insights into system/service behavior, performance and reliability Strive for a proactive approach to Incident Management, alerting and recommended actions to reduce risk of failure Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies Apply latest security standards in day‑to‑day work and software solutions Build and maintain automation code and tools Build observability based on user experience and key user journeys Drive projects with impact not only for your team but the whole SRE organization Be part of weekend and overnight on‑call rotation if technical expertise is needed during live site situations; special compensation applies What You Bring BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related technical field Expert DevOps/SRE or an equivalent position Experience with Linux/Unix Experience with K8S Deep knowledge of cloud architecture and/or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Deep expertise with security concepts in the cloud (e.g., identity and access management, authentication, certificate management, malware, etc.) Deep understanding of virtualization Deep understanding of network concepts in the cloud (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/2, TLS, NAT, VPN, firewall) Excellent understanding of Envoy Proxy and Service‑Mesh technologies Experience with Git, GitHub, Terraform, Postgres Experience with programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, etc. Monitoring, logging and visualization tools knowledge (Dynatrace, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) CI/CD tools experience (Jenkins, Concourse, etc.) Experience with PKI and cryptographic applications; experience with application attacks (advantage) Experience working in an Agile environment Ability to work efficiently in critical situations and to analyze and solve problems quickly Team player, self‑motivated, proactive and a continuous learner Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Fluency in English Meet Your Team We are building a new SRE team that will be distributed across Sofia (Bulgaria), São Leopoldo (Brazil) and Shanghai (China).
