Retail Senior Finance Manager, Br Stores Finance

DESCRIPTIONAmazon seeks an experienced commercial finance business leader to support our fast growing retail business in Brazil. The position is part of our growing Consumer Finance organization and is based out of our Sao Paulo office. This is an exciting opportunity to be the finance leader in an innovative and rapidly evolving business at Amazon.We’re looking for exceptional people with solid financial knowledge, analytical skills, a passion for developing people and interest in driving the long term strategy of the business. People who love products and numbers(), who can think critically, and who will use their financial acumen to help build our retail business to be the best place for our customers to explore, find and purchase the products they need.In this role, you will own the finance function for our retail business in Brazil, leading a finance team supporting a diverse group of products in our retail businesses in Brazil. Finance at Amazon means partnering directly with senior business leaders to deliver big results. It means working with the big data to identify key insights, then leverage them to drive business change. It means engaging with the latest technology and tools, including machine learning and advanced statistical modeling. It means managing multiple projects effectively. Most of all, Finance at Amazon means finding new ways to surprise and delight our customers.Key job responsibilities- Lead strategic financial planning and analysis for the retail business unit- Drive innovation and automation initiatives to transform financial processes and reporting- Oversee financial performance analysis of retail operations across all channels- Develop and implement sophisticated financial models and automated solutions- Partner with retail leadership to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency- Identify and execute process improvements through technology adoption- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the retail segment- Act as a trusted advisor to retail leadership on financial matters- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Taxes, Supply Chain, Marketing) on strategic initiatives)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field- Experience driving Financial results- Fluency in English and Portuguese- Team leadership experience, with and without direct reporting lines- Finance experience in a Retail, FMCG, or Technology company with an international environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA, or CPA- Simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes.- Strong verbal & written communication skills- Bring strong business judgment and good instincts
