Data & Analytics Consultant for Cognite

Data & Analytics (Must have Cognite experience)

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a consultant for DA or similar role within data and analytics.
• Proven experience working with Cognite tool .
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and data security principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desired:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with other data and analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and performant data and analytics solutions leveraging Cognite and other relevant technologies (cloud platforms, data management tools, etc.).
• Evaluate and recommend best-fit technologies based on specific project needs and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow models, and technical specifications.
• Lead solution presentations and demos to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Partner with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented the solution with the designed architecture.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the data and analytics landscape.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with data and analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data and analytics best practices within the organization.
