Frontend Engineer (Contract, 6–9 Months) – 100% Remote in Brazil | English Fluency Required

Frontend Engineer to join our team on a temporary contract (6–9 months) . This is a 100% remote opportunity for professionals based in Brazil who are fluent in English .

You’ll be contributing to the frontend of one of the largest global online communities and discussion platforms , used daily by millions of people worldwide. The platform is a key space where conversations, culture, and communities thrive, making it one of the most influential players in the social media and digital engagement market.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and support all features of the platform’s frontend
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Collaborate with the team on future features and visual design possibilities
  • Manage assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risks
  • Contribute to technical discussions and share best practices with a global, remote team

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience , primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript
  • Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics
  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time
  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics
  • Type : Temporary (6–9 months)
Frontend Developer

Using React, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend & backend design.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a Fullstack Developer
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Exposure to TypeScript and component-driven development
  • Background in design systems and style guide implementation
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
