Position Summary A large multinational in the medical devices sector, with global operations and integration across LATAM and the U.S. A dynamic, innovative, and highly regulated environment that requires strict tax compliance and strategic vision. Responsibilities Tax Management: Coordinate the calculation of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRPJ, CSLL). Tax Filings: Ensure accurate and timely submission of SPEDs, EFD, ECF, and other statutory reports. Tax Reform: Monitor and interpret the impacts of Brazil’s Tax Reform, proposing adjustments and adaptation strategies. Compliance & Controls: Implement and enhance internal processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations. Tax Planning: Support the identification of opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation. Reporting & Management Support: Develop tax and management reports to support strategic decision‑making. Audit & Inspection: Coordinate responses to audits and inspections, ensuring transparency and organization. Multinational Integration: Act as a liaison with LATAM and U.S. tax and finance teams, ensuring global alignment. Education / Experience Requirements Education: Degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Brazil’s Tax Reform and regional impacts; LATAM taxation knowledge is a plus. Languages: Advanced English (mandatory); Spanish desirable. Technology: Experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA, including tax configuration. Management: Experience collaborating with Import, Accounting, Controllership, and Legal departments.
