We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Product Designer to join our team and lead the design efforts for our innovative applications. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience and drive product strategy. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager and collaborates with engineering and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions. This is an international, fully-remote, freelance contractor position, working from home outside the United States, with a preference for candidates based in Latin America. Overlap with California hours is expected (e.g., until 2pm Pacific Time). The work will be conducted in English.

Senior Product Designer to lead design efforts for Zicasso’s applications, shaping UX and product strategy, coordinating with engineering and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user-centered solutions.

• Lead and participate in product strategy discussions, contributing to the vision and roadmap.
• Join the Product and Engineering managers in leading a Product Squad, collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement solutions for new B2C and B2B web apps and the internal platform.
• Lead the implementation of Product Design best practices to raise the product culture maturity.
• Conduct user research to gather insights, identify user needs, and inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Produce detailed handoff documentation with design files, component specifications (typography, spacing, colors), and interaction behaviors.
• Iterate and refine designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven decisions.
• Ensure a cohesive visual language across applications, adhering to the design system and brand guidelines.
• Advocate for user-centered design and promote design best practices within the team.
• Provide support and guidance to other Product Designers and participate in design reviews.

• 6+ years of experience in product design with a proven track record of leading design initiatives.
• Experience in the travel industry or luxury products/services is highly preferred.
• Experience in web design and diverse user research techniques.
• Strong passion for travel and creating exceptional user experiences.
• Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Demonstrated expertise in UI design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product strategy, metrics, and OKRs.
• Experience leading design reviews and mentoring other designers.
• Experience in fast-paced growth environments (startups or nimble structures).
