Role DescriptionThis is a remote contract role for an A.I. Consultant at Lemay.ai. You will be responsible for providing specialized expertise in data science, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning. Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with clients to develop and implement A.I. solutions, analyzing data and providing actionable insights, and leveraging your expertise to help clients optimize their A.I. initiatives.

QualificationsStrong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learningExperience in developing and deploying A.I. solutionsAbility to analyze data and provide actionable insightsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyExperience in the technology or consulting industry is a plusBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field

Skills (The more of these you have, the better)python3 functional and object-oriented programming approaches, design patterns, reliability, scaling, testing and observabilityCommunication channel technologies: Kafka, gRPC, RESTInfrastructure components: Kubernetes (ideally AKS), docker, CI/CD, Elasticsearch, MySQL/Postgres, and you know your way around a Linux server (e.g., git, SSH)Web stuff: JSON and familiarity with JS, HTML, CSSData Pipelines, Java, neo4j, terraform, Azure/AWS/GCP, GitLab, JIRA, airflow, ELK, application server technology, software quality assurance and/or testing, TensorFlow/PyTorch, pandas

Interview ProcessA take-home technical task will be assigned to candidates with aligned salary expectations.When sufficient applications have been received, the posting will be taken down while the pipeline of candidates completes their responses.Candidates will be ranked, and technical and compensation scores will be compared.Top candidates will be invited to a video call to discuss their applications.At this point, the company will be in a position to make an offer.
