**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:The accounting analyst is a position responsible for the transactional processing of local accounting into the ERP Protheus, closing process and reconciliation of accounts.**PRIMARY DUTIES**:- Utilize in-depth understanding of local books accounting- Depth knowledge of ERP Protheus.- To assist with day-to-day accounting activities processing and month-end closing process.- Process all reconciliation accounts for the Brazil local books.- Reconciliation of payroll accounts.- Uploading all reconciliation into blackline system with all documentation support.- Ensure timely processing and accuracy of the entries and reconciliations.- Provide backup support for all reconciliations.- Assist with the establishment and/or maintenance of internal policies and procedures to ensure quality, accuracy timeliness, and of the department to meet Service Level Agreements.- Support internal and external audit requests related to accounting.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the finance team and internal customers.- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in accounting specific training/skill development and establishing professional networks.- Fulfill the files with the information for the tax filling and uploading them into the ERP system.**Basic Qualifications**:- Two or more years of accounting experience.- Strong organization, analytical and account reconciliation skills.- Experience and knowledge of full-cycle accounting processing and closing.- Experience in ERP TOTVs.- Considerable knowledge of general accounting principles and Brazilian GAAP.- Must have professional service firm experience- Ability to multi-task and prioritize- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Experience taking a leading role in system and workflow improvement projects (ERP implementation a plus)**Preferred Skills**:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting- Experience with ERP/AP workflow systems - Protheus- English Skills is a plus.Apart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
