SR Specialist Accounting | Diversity Hiring: People with Disabilities Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting; ensure that accounting records and documentation comply with the requirements of the Group Finance Manual. This role is part of a diversity hiring initiative for People with Disabilities candidates. Key Responsibilities: Meets accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls. Verifies accuracy of data and data processing of accounting related information. Prepares monthly intercompany reconciliation. Supports accounting procedures, ensuring month and year-end balance correctly reflect the economic-financial reality of the company. Assists internal and external auditors. Maintains the ERP system and its interfaces with other applications. Supports creation of financial reports according to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local GAAP. Provides training to workers in both orally and writing form on accounting systems, principles and practices. Key Relationships: Local finance Local FP&A Local Tax LAM Regional Accounting Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Experienced in job and fully qualified/trained. Combined broad theoretical and practical knowledge including company policies and practices.
