We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Robotics Software Engineer with deep expertise in ROS2, AI, Vision and LIDAR systems, and strong proficiency in C++ and Python. This role is critical in structuring and advancing our robotics projects, interfacing seamlessly with our broader educational products. You will collaborate closely with our global team to ensure efficient development and integration of various systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced robotics software using ROS2.
  • Oversee and integrate Vision, AI and LIDAR technologies to enhance robotic capabilities.
  • Utilize strong programming skills in C++ and Python to develop robust and efficient code.
  • Break down complex tasks, manage project timelines, and mentor junior team members .
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics and AI to incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes within the robotics team.


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in robotics development with proven expertise in ROS2.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vision and LIDAR technologies and their practical applications.
  • Advanced programming skills in C++ and Python with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex tasks and manage project resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English; ability to collaborate in a global team.
  • Leadership experience in robotics development or similar projects.
  • Solid understanding of general concepts around artificial intelligence .
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model , requiring access to our office in São Paulo (2 minutes from estação Faria Lima).
