Backend Development Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions that power our innovative access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and Kotlin. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances the functionality and performance of our products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and Kotlin. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current backend technologies and best practices. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow in their careers. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with observability technologies (e.g., Datadog). Experience with Git versioning systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
