Responsibilities: Lead and guide our policy analysis, development and deployment for our app ecosystem in Brazil. Provide thought leadership on contentious policy issues as well as steer company position on up coming and harmful content regulation. Collaborate with our public policy, product, operations, legal, and public relations teams to improve content policies and streamline enforcement policies and processes. Help lead projects that explore regional policy effectiveness and the need for new policy formulation, leveraging available data and risk assessments. Develop effective feedback loops especially with moderation, quality, and vendor operations teams in order to inform, calibrate, and optimize policy lines. Requirements: 5 + years experience in policy, policy enforcement, law, or public policy in Brazil. Deep interest in content management and online community development Exposure to Trust & Safety, content policy, or brand safety roles or another relevant field Understanding of international Internet, social media and/or platform content issues Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions in high-pressure situations Experience managing complex research projects and proven ability to develop sound research methodologies preferred.
