About the role

This position supervises a team of technical/business support and/or production/maintenance employees within Materials & Logistics. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to the storage and shipping of products. Duties include conducting inventory control, preparing reports, and creating manuals for operational procedures.

  • Increase production efficiency by improving material flow and reducing delays.
  • Reduce costs associated with material handling by implementing efficient processes.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment across teams to ensure smooth material handling operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervises the activities of workers involved in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials to ensure the efficient movement of materials.
  • Conducts inventory control, analysis, and classification in accordance with material management procedures to ensure effective logistics deployment.
  • Prepares or oversees the preparation of correspondence, reports, and manuals related to operations, maintenance, and safety to establish the appropriate range and depth of spares, tools, and test equipment.
  • Develops and optimizes material flow processes to ensure the efficient delivery of parts and materials within the production area.
  • Collaborates with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to establish material handling standards and processes.
  • Manages inventory control systems and monitors stock levels to minimize shortages and prevent excess inventory.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in material flow, logistics, or production engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
