Overview Employer Industry: Healthcare Services Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $113,453.60 annually Comprehensive benefits package including career advancement opportunities and bonuses Remote work flexibility Opportunity to contribute to improving quality outcomes in healthcare Work in a supportive and collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth Responsibilities Conduct advanced clinical documentation reviews for inpatient encounters to identify discrepancies impacting quality outcomes Accurately interpret clinical information and evaluate clinical indicators for potential diagnoses and query opportunities Issue compliant queries to providers addressing organizational quality initiatives Collaborate with the primary CDI Specialist workforce to ensure accurate clinical documentation Track and report clinical documentation issues affecting quality measures Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA), or other clinically licensed professional Minimum of 5 years of acute medical/surgical care experience 3-5 years of advanced clinical documentation improvement experience In-depth knowledge of clinical disease processes and inpatient care delivery Strong analytical, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning skills Preferred Qualifications Certification in Clinical Documentation Demonstrated proficiency in risk-adjustment CDI knowledge, specifically Vizient and Elixhauser methodologies Knowledge of current CDI industry trends Experience with CDI software systems for documenting and tracking outcomes Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth #HealthcareServices #ClinicalDocumentation #RemoteWork #CareerOpportunity #ContinuousImprovement We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
