Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Manager (Data Scientist, Manager), with strong expertise in optimization to join our growing team. As Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, engineers, and machine learning engineers in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to business problems. You will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Design, create, test, and implement complex models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization.
- Lead a team of data specialists.
- Conduct advanced statistical and other analyses to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and understand business problems to implement scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Engineers to deliver holistic analytical solutions.
- Communicate the design, functioning and output of the analytical models/solutions developed.
- Ensure timely analysis and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time.
- Communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Establish and implement organization, function and/or sub-function short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy.
- Accountable for the budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams.
- Responsible for the roadmap execution and adjustment.
- Lead large projects/initiatives; AND/OR provides leadership and direction through managers, professionals, and support.
- Stakeholders of this role include Leadership team members, business leaders as well as technical experts making highly developed interpersonal & soft skills important.
- Proficient in data science, optimization, machine learning, Python, R, SQL, data analysis, analytical skills, teamwork, and communication skills.
