Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a Software Engineering Manager of the Verisium Debug Team in Belo Horizonte. Position Description:
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a team of software developers working on the Verisium Debug product.
- Regularly discuss performance and personal development with team members.
- Provide coaching and training. Work on hiring activities and support team growth.
- Perform code reviews, improve system architecture, continuously improve software development process and make sure best practices are followed by the team.
- Coordinate software development work with QA and Product Engineering teams.
- Help set priorities, work on roadmap definition and align teamwork with organization goals and product vision.
- BSEE or BSCS degree
- Experience leading software development teams and managing projects
- Knowledge of technical fundamentals on algorithms and data structures, system design and architecture
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- GUI development experience
- Expert in C++ and Java
