Optimizing Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Supply Chain Expertise: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing and purchasing excellence, with expertise in managing complex supplier relationships. Source high-quality manufacturers through thorough vetting processes and negotiations for optimal pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and payment terms. Develop accurate landed cost models that consider duties, freight, FBA fees, and other relevant costs to ensure margin targets are met. Coordinate product development, including sampling, specifications, labeling, packaging, and compliance with Amazon and industry standards. Manage purchase orders from production through delivery, ensuring on-time and in-full (OTIF) supplier and carrier performance. Monitor vendor performance, evaluating cost, quality, lead time, defect rate, and other key metrics to inform corrective actions. Conduct regular supplier audits and risk assessments to maintain geopolitical compliance and assess capacity. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through negotiation, process optimization, or alternative sourcing strategies. Promote continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance.
