We are looking for a motivated **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** focused on working with excellence and safety to be part of our team
The Technician will be part of the mechanical **maintenance team** of power plant Suape II in **Cabo de Santo Agostinho/PE, Brazil **and will report to Maintenance Supervisor.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on the plant's machines and equipment, identifying the need for repairs or replacement of parts, aiming to guarantee the reliability and functionality of the equipment;
- Intermediate knowledge of 4-stroke diesel cycle engines;
- Intermediate knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance of the Wartsila 20V46F Engine;
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, describing the scope of services performed and informing about possible faults identified;
- Take care of the tools and equipment under your responsibility, as well as clean, organize and sanitize the areas involved in the process.
**Requirements**:
- Complete Technical Training - Mechanics and others authorized by current legislation;
- Complete or on going course in Mechanical Engineer is a plus;
- Active CFT is required;
- Knowledge of procedures and guidelines on Quality, Environment and Work Safety
- Knowledge of measuring instruments;
- Fault analysis and problem solving;
- Knowledge of the operation and mechanics of internal combustion engines, Diesel cycle;
- Knowledge of routine preventive and corrective maintenance of engines, compressors, various pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic machines, piping and accessories;
- Basic English desirable;
- User-level computing (Word, Excel, Outlook);
