Overview

Full Time - Sales Associate - Paint - Day. As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you provide top-notch customer service and help customers feel comfortable while shopping. This role is ideal for those who want to engage with customers and assist them with home improvement challenges.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional service. You may assist with locating and handling merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, and ensuring customer needs are met. Daily tasks vary by department.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi-lingual skills.
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

You will spend most of your time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with daily responsibilities varying by department.

Working Conditions

Environmental factors vary by location. You may work in inside or outside conditions with exposure to varying climates. You may be exposed to noises, moving or shaking objects and equipment.
