Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our financial management team. About the Job This position entails overseeing and coordinating various administrative and financial activities, ensuring efficient resource utilization, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing reliable information for strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Bank Management: receive, review, and process invoice payments; monitor cash balances based on organizational cash flow needs; prepare bank reconciliations; Third-Party Management: maintain customer and supplier master data; request third-party assessments through the Compliance platform; Credit and Commercial Control: review and release customer orders according to commercial risk policies; request credit line approvals from the insurer and internal managers; request credit line extensions when necessary; control and monitor customer credit lines; Inventory Management: perform monthly inventory module closing; participate in physical inventory control committees (quarterly); record adjustments resulting from physical inventory counts (when applicable); Fixed Assets and Leases (IFRS 16): control recorded fixed assets; manage and monitor lease agreements according to IFRS 16; review monthly depreciation of fixed assets and leases; Payroll Management: calculate sales commissions payable to the sales department; review payroll processed by the accounting outsourcing company; review monthly balances to be accounted for related to health, parafiscal contributions, and social benefits; General Accounting: provide support for proper recording of accounting transactions; validate exchange rate controls on a quarterly basis; coordinate closing and opening of accounting periods; manage accounting structures and taxes; send monthly closing schedule to relevant areas; Other Routine Activities: respond to and follow up on requests from the Statutory Auditor and external advisors; respond to requests from Corporate Audit; monitor and follow up on internal control; provide administrative support in response to requests from other areas, the Finance Manager, or other corporate management; Requirements Graduate in Accounting (Accounting Sciences) – qualification recognized in Brazil (active CRC) Desirable Postgraduate degree in Finance, Taxation, or International Standards (IFRS) Minimum 5 years in accounting roles (general accounting, taxes, financial reporting), preferably in medium or large companies; Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish; Brazilian accounting (local standards), taxes (ICMS, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL), accounting reconciliations, tax compliance, reporting to the Federal Revenue Service; Advanced proficiency in Excel; Desirable use of Odoo; Solid knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting legislation: IRPJ, CSLL, ICMS, ISS, PIS/COFINS; Brazilian accounting standards (CPCs), IFRS, internal accounting closing and reconciliation procedures; Active registration with the CRC (Regional Accounting Council); IFRS course or tax MBA desirable; We Offer Permanent hiring Working day: Monday to Friday Place of work: Initially, it will be remote work, followed by office work in Campinas, Brazil The opportunity to belong and develop in a dynamic work environment and continuous learning At our organization, we are committed to diversity and inclusion.
