The Position - PHP Developer

We're looking for a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design, and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.

Responsibilities and RequirementsUnderstanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHPUnderstanding of MVC design patternsBasic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Knowledge of object oriented PHP programmingStrong knowledge of Laravel frameworkFamiliarity with Docker containersFamiliarity with AWSUnderstanding accessibility and security compliance (OWASP Top 10)Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutionsUnderstanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationUser authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsIntegration of multiple data sources and databases into one systemFamiliarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workaroundsCreating database schemas that represent and support business processesProficient with mySQLProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

The ProjectLegacy PHP application that currently does not make use of a framework; however we are in the process of moving to a more object-oriented and framework based application - so the ideal candidate is someone who is interested in helping us make that transition
