• Support underwriting excellence for the commercial surety team, focusing on account and portfolio underwriting
• Contribute to strategy development and execution for business growth
• Provide technical guidance and support to local teams
• Analyze and evaluate new business opportunities for profitability and compliance
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends for improvement

• Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Surety underwriting experience
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills across various customer industries
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in underwriting and financial analysis
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

• AFSB designation is a plus
• Exposure to credit models such as Moody's RiskCalc & CreditEdge
