QA Specialist Contract Type : Consultant (12-month initial contract, possible extension) Work Mode : 100% Remote Location : Must reside in Mexico or Brazil. Schedule : Monday to Friday, LATAM business hours (approx. 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM local time) Language : Advanced English (B2–C1) Project : Cloud-native trading platform for Fixed Income instruments (Swaps, Bonds, CDS) Role Overview Our client is building a cloud‑native trading platform as part of its investment banking transformation. Developed in collaboration with fintech partners, this platform features a single global codebase and a unified interface, enabling rapid updates and scalability. We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Interest Rate QA Specialist to ensure the delivery of high‑quality functional test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both the financial domain and QA technical practices, focusing on designing and executing manual and automated tests for Swaps, Bonds, and CDS platforms. You will work closely with QAs, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to drive best practices in automation and manual testing across the project. Responsibilities Perform functional, non‑functional, and regression testing for Fixed Income Interest Rate eTrading platforms (Swaps, Bonds, CDS). Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, and languages like Java or JavaScript. Create reusable, maintainable test scripts for UI and API testing. Develop and execute API test cases, ensuring backend and frontend integration. Manage and maintain test cases in Xray integrated with Jira, ensuring traceability and coverage. Execute automated tests across multiple currencies and environments. Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, collaborating with developers for timely resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Review test execution results and coverage reports to ensure alignment with project objectives. Quickly learn and adapt to the existing test framework and project workflows. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 7 years in QA Manual and Automation testing. Strong domain expertise in Fixed Income, Interest Rate, and eTrading platforms. Proficiency in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, SikuliX, Maven, Git, Playwright, API testing, Xray, and Jira. Experience with Investment Banking electronic trading systems. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git). Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, proactive approach. Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1). Residence in Mexico or Brazil (mandatory).
