About the Opportunity Avenue Code is a leading software consultancy that specializes in delivering end-to-end development solutions for digital transformation across various industries. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an active contributor to our technical direction and have the opportunity to work on various initiatives. You will also participate in code reviews, pair with team members, and contribute to design and architectural decisions that shape the future of our software systems. Key Responsibilities Develop web applications using interesting technologies such as Elixir, Ruby, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB. Mentor and actively participate in code reviews and pairing. Collaborate with product and engineering management as a strong partner. Have input into design and architectural decisions that will shape the future of our software systems. Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in web application development with a track record of successfully shipping consumer or business-facing products. Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code, reusable components, and component libraries that may be used by many other engineers. Familiarity with programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Requirements Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React. Experience with GraphQL. Experience building microservices. Experience working with a CMS, especially Prismic. Any experience with mobile development for iOS and/or Android.
