We aim to create a workplace where everyone thrives professionally. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to lead our machine learning efforts. This role will define and shape the future of data science and ML at Niche. You will identify high-impact opportunities, design, build, and deploy machine learning models that drive business growth and enhance user experience. You will collaborate with product, engineering, data analytics, and business stakeholders to prioritize and develop ML solutions. Your goal is to deliver tangible results through deploying production-grade code and systems. Key Responsibilities Identify and prioritize ML opportunities aligned with our strategic goals. Design and build machine learning models from data collection to validation. Deploy and integrate ML models into our products and internal systems. Measure and analyze model performance in production, driving continuous improvement. Champion and evangelize ML concepts across the organization. Lead and mentor other ML engineers, establishing best practices and documentation. First Year Plan Gain a deep understanding of Niche's platform and data architecture through extensive research and collaboration. Align with product and engineering teams on business goals and ML impact areas. Develop a roadmap for high-impact ML opportunities. Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in software development or data science, with 5+ years focused on building and deploying machine learning models. Demonstrable track record of shipping multiple ML models resulting in measurable business growth. Expertise in Python and common ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow). Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is essential. Business acumen and leadership experience are required.
