Job Profile: Data Migration Professional Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and execute data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data transformation, database management systems, and project management. This role involves designing and implementing data migration processes, developing scripts and ETL tools, and ensuring data integrity and quality. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration. They will also develop proactive strategies to address potential challenges and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Data Migration: Design and implement data migration processes, develop scripts and ETL tools for data transformation. Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and validation during the migration process, perform regular audits and validation checks. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, develop proactive strategies to address potential challenges. Compliance: Ensure that data migration processes comply with industry standards and regulations. Documentation: Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data migration activities. Requirements: 8-10 years of experience in data migration and management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proficiency in SQL and data migration tools like Talend, Informatica. Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) to manage and migrate data. Advanced English language skills.
