At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Engineer to join the Data Center Power and Control Division ZPE Systems Team in Blumenau/SC, Brazil . ZPE Systems is looking for a talented and technically skilled candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to work as an L3 Technical Support engineer. The Senior Support Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, understand issues reported by customers and convey them to the Engineering team, provide timely customer feedback when necessary, and perform other duties. Additionally, the role requires direct customer communication and the creation of written documentation, demanding strong written and verbal communication skills. What Will You Do? Identifying hardware and software solutions. Troubleshooting technical issues. Resolving network issues. Installing and configuring hardware and software. Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem. Providing timely and accurate customer feedback. Talking with customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem. Following up with customers to ensure the problem is resolved. Providing support in the form of procedural documentation. Managing multiple cases at one time. Qualifications Education Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Experience Prior experience in tech support, at least 3 years with Data Centers. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous. Prior experience in tech support, at least 3 years with Data Centers. Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS. Knowledge in Networking, Routing protocols, Virtual Machine/Docker. Knowledge in Console Server, PDU, KVM, Service Processor. Knowledge in IPSec, SSL VPN. Knowledge in Cloud (AWS, GCP). Comfortable in putting hands on hardware and hand tools. Attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A strong sense of ownership about their work. We prefer candidates who can work in‑person in our office in Blumenau.
