Job Purpose We are looking for a QA Engineer III who applies System Engineering specialties of requirements management, quality control, and configuration management with a senior-level responsibility on product development projects. This individual will mentor junior QA engineers, providing feedback and assistance as needed. They may also be asked to design and lead test plans for complex modules or products and to suggest technical and process-related improvements. Responsibilities Lead planning of functional, regression, and system-level tests for new features and product releases; Collaborate with developers to extract, organize, and document system requirements; Maintain and organize test cases, ensuring complete coverage and traceability; Participate in the installation, configuration, and validation of software/hardware systems; Lead manual test execution and support the development of automated test procedures; Conduct root cause analysis for defects and follow up with cross-functional teams; Contribute to system configuration and compatibility management; Actively engage in process improvement initiatives for QA standards and procedures; Propose or develop tools to enhance test planning and execution efficiency; Mentor and support the development of junior QA Engineers; Work closely with management on release scope analysis and prioritization; Coordinate QA activities for specific projects and support cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (a master’s degree in such areas is a plus). Demonstrated senior-level knowledge in requirements management, quality control, defect management, and test plan creation. Equipped with knowledge of 1+ programming languages. Strong leadership, mentoring, and training skills. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
