Position Summary As a Technical Recruiter at Sierra Studio, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our talent pipeline, focusing on technical roles. You'll work closely with hiring managers, leadership, and the people operations team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless hiring process and contributing to the growth of Sierra's people operations department. You'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and attracting top‑tier talent, particularly from the Brazilian market, to connect with exciting opportunities in our vetted community of US‑based companies. Key Responsibilities Co‑lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes: Own the full‑cycle recruiting process for various technical and creative roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies and job descriptions. Source top talent: Utilize creative sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates. Go beyond common tools like LinkedIn Recruiter to find passive candidates and build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Conduct thorough candidate evaluations: Review resumes, evaluate qualifications, skills, and experiences, and conduct interviews to assess technical fit and alignment with company culture. Provide timely feedback and support to ensure a positive candidate experience. Maintain data integrity and compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity and compliance. Conduct regular reporting and analysis of recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize hiring processes. Required Skills and Experience 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical and creative roles, including software, hardware, research, and design. Proven track record of working in both small and large tech companies. Proficiency in using Ashby or similar ATS. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to conduct thorough resume reviews, evaluating qualifications, skills, and experiences. Expertise in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and cultural fit. Creativity and effectiveness in talent sourcing, utilizing methods beyond common tools like LinkedIn Recruiter. Strong commitment to maintaining high standards for structured hiring processes, assessments, documentation, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Skill in building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor in recruitment matters. Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple positions with varying scopes simultaneously. Collaborative mindset in working with the people operations team to develop strategies, plan weekly activities, maintain up‑to‑date HR metrics, and assist with HR management and people‑related matters. Previous experience in technical roles and interest in AI technologies are a strong asset. Personal Attributes We seek a self‑motivated individual with a proactive attitude.
