Credit Risk is a centralized risk-type function within the CRO function. The team is primarily responsible for setting limits and providing credit approvals for single name credit risk, as well as monitoring and managing against these in the context of the bank's Enterprise Risk Management framework. Using in-depth analysis of industry, sovereign and settlement risk, CRM enables Deutsche Bank to optimize its appetite for investment. Credit Risk enables CRO to strengthen, enhance and improve control of the bank's credit risk. The team provides deep technical expertise to the business aligned risk functions and facilitates strategic business decision-making to improve overall use of the bank's capital. Key Responsibilities Analyze credit quality of a portfolio of corporate and financial institutional in Brazil (rest of Latam is a plus). Focus on large corporate and selective 2nd tier. Approve transactions with credit risks (loans, derivatives, guarantees). Negotiate credit terms for derivative and loan documentation. Ensure adherence to local and global regulatory requirements. Monitor credit quality of portfolio. Coverage of hedge funds and propriety trading desks for credit products. Represent Credit in Brazil Risk Committee. Provide information and active discussion with auditors. Provide continuous monitoring and oversight of credit risks generated, providing mitigation advice and challenge where appropriate. Complies and procures compliance with applicable credit regulations. Fulfils all obligations towards supervisory authorities. Define an ensuring effective implementation of relevant strategies within defined Risk Appetite and deliverables and performance targets. Ensures the implementation of Policies and Procedures by and within the Unit. Qualifications Very good English (written and Spoken) 5-9 years + experience in derivatives and financial institutions | corporate analysis in Brazil. Experience in approving of derivatives and commercial credit (loans | guarantees) and negotiation of credit teams for derivatives | loans. Very ability to work as a team player.
