Senior Data Engineer

Seeking a seasoned data engineer to spearhead end-to-end data pipeline design and optimization. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Design scalable data solutions handling large datasets. Implement workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. Lead Snowflake and data lake technology implementation and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating and incorporating new tools, technologies, and methodologies into the organization. Required Skills Strong programming skills in Python. Extensive experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouses. Expertise in orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. Deep understanding of messaging queues such as Kafka. Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg for managing and optimizing data lakes. Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines. Proven experience working in an Agile development environment. Strong background in data modeling, data governance, and ensuring compliance with data security standards. Familiarity with Additional Technologies Stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink. Programming languages like Scala or Java. Machine learning workflows integration.
