This is fundamental to our core values as a company and vital to our success.**Job Summary**The Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analytics is part of the Americas Bookings Operations Team and is responsible for the review and reconciliation of data to ensure accuracy and completeness of bookings and churn reporting. The role requires excellent collaboration with other groups in Sales Operations, such as Sales Compensation, Planning and Reporting Teams. As an integral part of our Bookings Operations Team, the Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, as well as the day-to-day booking operations related activities, such as opportunity management, reporting, Sales Compensation Issue Tracker queue management and project implementation support. This is a highly analytical role, requiring excellent attention to details. The role involves review and manipulation of large data sets and requires developing knowledge of complex sales plans and compensation concepts. It requires the ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with the other Sales Operations team members, in order to meet monthly reporting and payroll deadlines. You must have a can-do attitude, enjoy rolling up your sleeves and being part of a group where you can make real time impact.**What you’ll be doing**Opportunity management- Update/maintain SFDC to ensure opportunities are tagged in compliance with account segmentation and our Global Rules of Engagement supporting Equinix’s Sales Compensation plans- Responsible for the monthly/quarterly reconciliations of bookings data between Tableau and SFDC, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of corporate and compensation bookings- First level reviewer for any opportunity tagging issues. Represent the sales ops organization in opportunity management related matters. Investigates complex issues, escalates as needed and provides timely response to sales teams- Monitor and review sales compensation issue tracker queue and reaches out to sales teams and/or sales operations to resolve issues and address inquiries, as part of our internal exception handling process- Build and maintain business partnerships with the sales organization as well as Finance, HR, Sales Compensation, Sales planning, and Sales reporting teams.- Provide world-class customer service to our sales organization and internal customersReporting/Analytics- Supports the month-end close process and performs follow-up checks to ensure data quality and accuracy- Explores data within multiple files to determine trends, correlations, and causal relations between variables- Performs periodic audits of data within business systems/platforms- Generate regular operational reports to drive business insights regarding program effectiveness- Perform ad hoc modeling and analyses to address complex, open ended issues/questions- Makes recommendations of what data should be explored and debriefs with team to explain data insights and confirm reportProgram Support / Implementation- Keep company in compliance with SOX and other statutory requirements- Partner with team members and other internal departments (SFDC project team, Finance, IT, etc.) to ensure data integrity and consistency- Identify ways to streamline/automate existing and new processes- Participate in the communication and roll-out of sales incentive programs- Make process improvement recommendations to reduce sales drag**What we’ll expect from you**- Relevant work experience, and progressive track record in finance, economics, data science, statistics, sales compensation, or other highly analytical field is required- Bachelor's Degree required- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Self-starter who requires minimum direction and/or supervision- Able to work independently and take initia
