RINA is currently recruiting for a Inspection Coordinator to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Energy Procurement Solutions Division.
MissionThe Inspection Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of defined inspection activities on time, within budget, and with quality results. This includes engaging single or a team of inspectors, evaluating and analyzing their performance, and planning and managing logistics and delivering reporting to the clients.
Job Responsibilities- Operationally coordinate projects for procurement support services, such as vendor inspection, expediting, other second and third-party activities;
- Search and select promptly the most competent and close personnel to carry out the activity requested by the customer, being responsible for the quality execution of the service and costs;
- Plan, schedule workload and assign field personnel, ensuring that the project requirements are understood and met by field personnel;
- Assist field personnel in the execution of their assigned responsibilities;
- Evaluate field personnel performance;
- Ensure that all data entry into RINA systems is performed in accordance with the agreed systems and procedures;
- Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA Quality Management System;
- Support and participate in the organisation’s environmental and safety program to conform to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements;
- Comply with HSE Policies, Procedures and Guidelines;
- Responsible for waste disposal as per the guidelines of the organization;
- Be aware and understand the Quality Policy;
- Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS;
- Be aware of the quality of his own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role;
- Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping the stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all customer needs;
- Ensure services are supplied to customers' (both internal and external) requirements within the project quality, safety, timeliness and cost targets;
- Review all the reports prior to submittal to the client.
- Hybrid work (after the first one month on-site);
- Requirements:
- Advanced English (will be tested);
- Completed technical degree and/or completed or enrolled in bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar;
