Main responsibilities:

Provide engaging, high-level instruction for middle school Spanish classes. Utilize diverse, interactive teaching methods to engage students in active language acquisition. Foster critical thinking and inquiry-based learning, emphasizing language skills through student-centered, experiential teaching. Create a safe, supportive learning environment that promotes the social-emotional well-being of students. Design and implement an age-appropriate and developmentally suitable Spanish curriculum, emphasizing high academic standards and relevant, culturally rich content. Employ the Understanding by Design (UbD) model to create meaningful, standards-based lessons that are relevant and creative. Use standards-based grading and competency-based education with clear rubrics to evaluate and support student growth.

Requirements:

Spanish License Degree. Bilingual in Portuguese and English is desirable. A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a bilingual/international setting. Ability to work effectively with children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Principais responsabilidades:

Ministrar aulas envolventes e de alto nível para turmas de Espanhol no Ensino Fundamental II. Utilizar métodos de ensino diversificados e interativos para engajar os alunos na aquisição ativa da língua. Promover o pensamento crítico e o aprendizado baseado em investigação, enfatizando habilidades linguísticas por meio de ensino centrado no aluno e experiências práticas. Criar um ambiente de aprendizado seguro e acolhedor, que promova o bem-estar socioemocional dos alunos. Planejar e implementar um currículo de Espanhol apropriado para a faixa etária e nível de desenvolvimento, com alto rigor acadêmico e conteúdos culturalmente ricos e relevantes. Utilizar o modelo de "Understanding by Design" (UbD) para elaborar aulas significativas, criativas e baseadas em padrões. Aplicar avaliação baseada em competências e padrões, utilizando rubricas claras para apoiar e medir o desenvolvimento dos alunos.

Requisitos:

Licenciatura em Letras-Espanhol. Bilinguismo em Português e Inglês é desejável. Mínimo de 2 anos de experiência relevante em ensino, preferencialmente em um ambiente bilíngue/internacional. Habilidade para trabalhar efetivamente com crianças de diferentes contextos culturais. Fortes habilidades de comunicação e relacionamento interpessoal.
